Branding Iron Oakville Cabernet Sauvignon

Just had to try another bottle. From an Oakville vineyard, dark Ruby, a rich and complex Cab loaded with berry, currant, spice box and cedar aromas. On the palate blackberry and sweet cherry flavors with notes of pepper, smoke and sweet herbs. Refined tannins, but still tight, long ending with a fine sweet smoky cedar character. Very nice has room to age for a decade or so, but great now!

Classic Oakville. Balanced and structured, with a lingering finish that made it the perfect accompaniment to a medium filet minion.

Solid finish to the night

Oh yeah, maybe a bit young but drinking great with a short decant. Nice red fruit paired with nice earthiness and strong tannins. Very well structured with nice long finish.

Well balanced and structured classic Oakville Cab. Slightly fruit forward but with a lingering flavor. Drinking well now though it’s still young.
