Barolo Nebbiolo
Not the best Barolo I have ever had, but it is nicely made and does have some dark fruit in there.

Jan 7th, 2014Our first Barolo, and honestly, we were a bit disappointed. We were expecting a bit more punch and pizzazz. Still quite drinkable, though. Flavors of strawberry, red fruit and soft tannins.

Dec 19th, 20232016 Barolo is amazing. This is still wound tight and could sit longer. Hoping more layers and complexity reveal themselves over the years

Feb 12th, 2022Approachable, lively, and easy drinking in a way I don’t normally associate with Barolo.. Concise and focused with a lot of flavor. Sharp acidity contrasted with delightful fruit, but it’s not in any way astringent as I sometimes find Barolos to be. This was a 2015, so it had some bottle age which may have softened it a bit. Overall, maybe not the purest or most characteristic expression of Barolo, but a pleasure to drink, and it’s far more enjoyable than many Barolos I’ve had in the past. A good intro to Barolo, and a bargain to boot.
