Steely but rich, impeccably made, though maybe a bit anonymous; not overflowing with terroir. High acid.

Extremely good. Firm and pretty acid for days. Will age beautifully.

Super lean and fruity, I never would’ve guessed this was Chardonnay. Light body, very fruity, lemon and pineapple, slightly creamy on the finish with lingering tart citrus.

Mom and Dad both like: a little sharp, which Dad likes and generally Mom doesn’t.

Seriously good Chardonnay from an unlikely AVA. The Finger Lakes can be very hit and miss, but sometimes you find gems like this. Restrained and balanced, with a very subtle aroma of pineapples. It has some weight to it, but also firm acidity. There’s probably some oak at play, but it’s very much in the background. And at only 12% ABV you can have a couple glasses, too.
