Petaluma Gap Sangiacomo Vineyard Syrah
Flowers and wet stone up front. Settles into a balanced and elegant Syrah. I liked the up front boldness better than the rest... but very nice.

1 person found it helpfulFeb 20th, 2016Again, @Mike Smith was kind enough to open this Syrah during our tasting, a Syrah that he himself hadn't tasted since it had been in bottle! What a treat to enjoy it with him. This was our dinner wine of the evening and it was bold enough to hold its own with steak. Dusty, slight spice, berry medley Syrah. This was my first Syrah from Mike and I know I will definitely be buying more.
