Myriad Cellars
Beckstoffer Dr. Crane Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon

09’ Myriad Dr Crane. I last tried this wine 4 years ago.
Decanted it for 3 hours ,it’s a absolute must.
Throwing a bit of sediment.
The nose sold it then & sells it now also. The wine is even a bit more expressive. Right down the middle for the win. Drink over the next 10 years. Cheers!

09' Myrid Beckstoffer Dr Crane. Love that dark brick color to it. A slight bit of heat. Decanting this was the key. Full- bodied. The nose-Expressive licorice, floral/flowers, just sells it for me. Front of the palate you get nice chunk of ripened strawberries. Middle & back of the palate- Primarily black fruits, with a splash of blueberry. BIG/full & smooth finish. Love the vineyard. Cheers to Mike Smith for this gem of a wine.

Sep 2nd, 2016Drinking very well right now (2024). Critics said to drink up but I found it still having strong fruit balancing the dirt. Reminded me of some lovely aged Bordeaux I've had in the past. I'd enjoy now or over the next few years if you're lucky enough to have any bottles. Cheers!
