Napa Valley Sparkling Blanc de Blancs

Near perfect. The #blancdeblancs from Mumm Napa age so beautifully, especially out of #magnums! Some fresh citrus notes, but smells and flavors of a bakery in full swing dominate, toasty almond and slightly burnt baguette. I have been waiting to #saber this wine for a while, my sons birthday was the perfect occasion.

Green apple. Nice tartness. Good finish

Bright. Tart. Green apple. Surprisingly long finish.

All unripe pineapple on the nose. Immediately get some pie crust with the bubbles followed by a peach and tart apple note. Mid palate is where I got some fun notes of citrus blossom and lemon curd. Finished with all sorts of tropical fruit, pineapple, mango, star fruit and a spiced kiwi. Very fun sparkling!

Overall this is good. The nose is tight and the wine takes some time to open up.
