Devaux Ranch Pinot Noir

A pleasant surprise. Held the booze well and aromatically interesting.

Very good for such a young Pinot. Even the non-wine drinkers liked it. :)

Plum and florals on the nose. Tart cherry up front. A little bit of something herbal on the mid-palate, almost like cilantro. Big bodied for a Pinot Noir, really liked it!

Nectarine and black currant on the nose. Apple upfront with a medium syrupy body. Decent amount of heat starting on the mid-palate and increasing over time. Finishes with a hint of rhubarb.

Less of a Pinot than the 2014, but absolutely more to my bolder taste

Easy drinking Pinot. Oaky, light.

One of the best Pinot Noir's I have ever tasted.

Some spicy flavors, very little tannin. Mostly harmless.

Definitely that new world fruit you'd expect to find in a Cali Pinot. Surprisingly good considering this winemaker is known for bubbles. Lots of cherry and spice

Dark cherry, slight wood fire on the nose. Dried cherries, medium bodied, long finish.
