Wish it had a bit more freshness. It's interesting though, just seems a little tired.

Seemed tired - liked the oxidative style with baked apple and marzipan notes - just not as alive as I'd expect

Lush peach, honeysuckle, and lemon peel. Hints of almond and marzipan. Bright lively acidity backed by expressive minerality.

Sadly, for me, this wine was a little one-dimensional. On the nose, acetone (glue note) is what struck me first. Behind that I could, after my friends lined them up for me, find some brioche and vegetal notes (spinach dock). But with my over-sensitivity for acetone, this wasn't exactly fun. On the palate, well, acidity and quickly fading bubbles. I'm a lover of many natural wines and was full of excitement when the bottle was opened, but alas, this isn't my bubbly. 50+5+8+11+6=80 (extremely subjective; as I know this is a very special champagne and the bartender who opened it for me loves it.)

Champagne 6 cépages! Ambré et presque madérisé, assez fort en bouche. Bulles quasi inexistantes. Très intéressant!
