Better than ever
Embarrassingly young
Not all the bottle are the same, but this looks like it could hold another 10 years
Not bad for a wine you would have paid 10 bucks when released 🙏

I got an email if I needed a Semillon transfusion 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Early release
Just so great
At peak
The best wine for value I ever come across
Freshness, complexity, minerality to sell, length
I just wanted to make sure last time I drank it it wasn't just luck
✌️✌️

Under corked. Aged cellar release I supposed in 2006.
Different look, bright golden. Intense nose. Tropical fruits, floral, cashew, ginger, lemongrass, toasty, honey, almonds. Very very complex😱😱. Burgundy like mouth, all driven by the beautiful hunter Semillon minerality, more Puligny like or Chablis?
Extremely queffable too. To be clear... I really like it😂😂

"Early release" on the label.
If you put this wine with lots of 1er cru White Burgundy blinded I dare anyone but someone from this side of the world could hardly tell the difference.
Ok, different minerality, but the texture....the complexity. I will open soon an aged release of the same vintage. It will be hard to beat this bottle. Perfect timing with the bottle best moment tonight😊

One of the Hunter Valley greats and an Australian icon. 'Elizabeth' is a legacy of Maurice O'Shea's penchant for naming wines after his friends. The wine is crisp, savoury & beautifully balanced.

Lemon color. Some bubbles. Nutty, lemon, orange, blossoms, plasticky fly spray nose. Very high acid, low body and alcohol, no oak. Med finish.

I opened to cook with, that's how bad was the previous bottle I had, but tonight I made it up to this wine; a completely different wine here. Complex with freshness and minerality, only hints of toasty or honey. Very enjoyable.

Tasty but just hinting at the bright future ahead. Tangy citrus notes of mandarins, tangerine, and lemon peel along with a hint of honeydew. The acid is ripping and could definitely use some time to integrate. Well done, just needs time. If you're looking to start a wine cellar on a budget, start here

For it's age she's doing really well. A bit musty from the cork but incredible really. 10 percent alcohol. Not your average crisp dry white
