Like the label says, red fruit, chocolate and vanilla notes, maybe a hint of white pepper too. This is a decent wine, but it is really not that dynamic or bold. Subtle, light, pleasant. Not bad for $16.

This wine packs a wallop. Nose has plummy, kirsch fruit, cinnamon stick, and cracked rocks. Very full and minerally, with rock-dusty fruit and licorice flavors. Good with a rustic meal. Not elegant by any stretch.
