I've also loved Mandilaria & Monemvassia...I think. Awesome value, fleshy, tannic, ripe and ready.

Cofermented 75/25 Mandilaria & Monemvasia, aged 16m in new French oak.
Nice, very ripe nose with ripe black fruit, cassis & some whole spice. A touch of dark chocolate, too.
And quite disappointing on the palate - out of balance & freshness with sirupy, overly sweet fruit, aggressive and very dry tannins and hardly any acidity.
Difficult to drink more than a few sips.
Definitely needs more time to mellow and shed it’s youthful burly muscles - but I doubt it will gain balance.
