Corley Reserve Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon

A typical Cabernet with small amounts of other grapes, 8% Merlot & Cabernet Franc, aged for 30 months in oak. Dark red with berry fruit aromas with oak and spice notes. On the palate blackberry & blueberry flavors with vanilla oak tones, ok balanced with acidity. Medium+ with grippy fine tannins ending with toasty oak notes. Pricey, nothing special for 80 bucks. A typical Cabernet with small amounts of other grapes, Merlot for example, with black fruit aromas and spice. Blackberry and currants with licorice and pepper spice, big acidity with firm tannins. Medium length ending with earthy tones. Pricey, many others better at lower cost.

Ruby color. Sweet nose of strawberry jam. Dark cherry palate but a little spicy on the back end. Moderate tannin and not too hot. Overall very good cab. I enjoyed this with chicken cacciatore and a crusty baguette. This aged well and was very delighted. I’d definitely recommend.

Ruby red and very fragrant. Full bodied with raspberry taste. This is the bottle I bought at the Monticello Winery in California, when we visited in February of 2020. Great memories of traveling. In celebratiom fo my daughter starting work this month.

Very smooth yet light. A hint of soft juice Followed by a dryness that wisps away worries

2015. Has good structure—a little light but hitting the points.
