In a great place. Called it 1990 Valdicava. Pretty happy with that call.

Started with blood and iron ore flavors, than some mushrooms, berries showed up. Really perfect timing to open it.

Not the Riserva

3L 1990 La Pergole Torte. K’s bday dinner at Rep. Fave red wine of the night. Better than 3L Chateau Canon and even the 1962 Vega (our if 750).

Ruby garnet color. Black pepper, dark fruit and leather on the nose. Again balanced palate with a very long finish. Perfect bottle.

Slight bricking at the rim. Distinct herbal nose with a strong red fruit core. Medium and complex body with a long spicy finish. Excellent.
