A solid Carmener that needs time to open up but with good tannins and the aftertaste that comes from an excellent structure

Vibrant, inky purple with youthful Aromas of blackberry, blueberry, leather, mocha, earthy violet and an undertone of dried thyme. Full bodied yet Elegant with a very long finish. Lovely wine. Purple Angel is 92% Carmenère and 8% Petite Verdot

Nice. Fleshy but not overtly. Balance. Ripe tasty. Good tannin.

😇 I looked up to the sky & the Purple Angel came down upon me filling my glass with light blocking purple rain that oozed aromas of black & blue berries w/ thick chocolate, vanilla & smokey oak - drink this godly juice she said 🍷

I dared embrace the heavenly nectar & succumbed to a full on palate explosion of ripe dark concentrated blackcurrant 💥

My mouth was left open in awe as my stained teeth yielded to the long silky finish & I myself turned into a naughty purple devil - spank me angel spank me 😈

Underneath all of that oak is a good wine that wants to be free

92% Carmenere; 8% Petit Verdot. Carmenere is an offshoot of Cabernet Franc says Jancis R’s encyclopaedia. Ripe black fruited aromas with creme de cacao - vanilla coconut oak on nose and palate - overoaked IMO. What you might call an Heroic wine coupled with the ridiculously heavy bottle. You could do forearm curls with this bottle! Full bodied - solid, and a little square sided for my palate.
