Black Forest cherry, a good start to the olfactory.

Bright, berry fruit. jolly rancher, pickled peppers.
Not the usual powdered cacao I get from Carmenere, this is more subtle, with strong, focused acidity.

2011 vintage. Deep ruby. Red berry flavor with vanillavspice. Oak present but didn't overwhelm. Good with grilled steak.
