A blend of Sangiovese, Merlot & Cabernet this wine has lovely aromas of roasted tomatoes, sweet tobacco & balsamic reduction on the nose. While the palate brings fruit to the forefront with raspberry & black cherry along with notes of thyme, clay & pepper through the finish. All in all, quite enjoyable and an excellent pairing with empanadas & spicy pepperoni Pizza! ($16) [2/17/21]

Dusty cherry nose -
Must decant! Actually decant everything.
Cherry, cherry, cherry. Some sharp acidity, instantly tempered by the high tannin.
Pleasing - a standard Tuscan wine, great price.

A fabulously casual wine. Unassuming in price but delightful on the palate. Is it the NPR of wine—free but well-bred and a smidge eclectic? I’m struggling for a metaphors guys. Quite juicy but herbal. And spicy. And purpley. With plums. With gently grabby tannin times. And a bit of tang backing the big fruit. Thoroughly an overdeliverer.

Great upon opening and then really opens up as it breaths. Easy wine to drink casually.

Less than $10 at Costco, get off your high horse and enjoy the wine for what it is. Delicious with roasted beet tips, sweet potatoes, and brussels sprouts.

85% Sangiovese, 10% Cabernet Sauvignon, 5% Merlot. From the finest grapes and prime Tuscan hillsides, fruit and soil selection allow the wine to achieve consistent quality with each vintage. Aged 1 year in oak and 6 months in bottle, its full body and lush, fruity flavor makes this a perfect match for cheese, pasta, and all meat dishes.
