Nice with bolognese. Balanced and classic. Cherry, a touch of tar and rose, good acidity. Not as rustic as Produttori, which remains the benchmark at this price for me.

We stand by this rating. Gorgeous bountiful authentic bouquet of rich dark tawny red fruit that silks around rich broth pairings and yet still showcases the heady elegance of berry cherry heaviness. Just perfect, little more to ask.

Oct 29th, 2017Gorgeous bouquet. Wonderfully full on the palette. Tannins so balanced as to be hardly there. Earthy leathery undertone, like the castle key, and deep red fruit in the middle that burnishes at the finish.
