First '15 Beaujolais. People weren't kidding about the ripeness. Lots of baby fat on this, and a lack of acidity make for a flabby experience. Not at all how I remember his '14s. I can't tell whether a couple years will help, but I won't be stocking up on more '15s from Beaujolais. — 8 years ago

Reduction upon opening, then pure ethereal slightly dusty fruit. Aroma like drier sheets in a good way, tons of freshness, and the slightest hint of olive. Gorgeous. (I think it is 2014 but I'm not sure -- label states 11,2% ABV). — 8 years ago

Felt like killing a baby tonight and I'm glad I did. The small bottle helped I'm sure, but this was super open and honestly nowhere near as tannic as I was bracing myself for. Strawberry jam, violets, tar, and a little too much oak. On the hedonistic side for me but good, and not a bad time to drink. — 8 years ago

I have to say I expected more. Good strawberry notes but a surprising amount of EtOH (only wine in which I've ever noticed this) and lacking the 'wow factor' I assumed this would have. QPR is very unfavorable as well. — 8 years ago
