The nuns strike again. Amber-colored with a wide array of fruits from apple cider and orange to lychee, plus floral and herbal complexity. Only 11% abv but the phenolics, tannin and lees contact give plenty of weight without sacrificing the fresh acidity. Magnified the flavors of an orange and fennel salad, and absorbed the richness of tuna belly crostini.

Very nice amber wine, one of the few producers we’ve found that make well-structured natty that aren’t overpowered by cidry funk and “off” aromas. Strong herbal overtones. Black tea. Massive desiccating tannins. At the same time the palate has an appealing softness. Lovely work.

Pretty good but not as good as the other oranges I've had, especially at 30 bucks.

I love this wine. Every time it seems like something new. It’s fresh and light for a skin contact wine. All the things I like about natural wine without the things I don’t like (i.e. bret).
