Basic yet fairly classy label. Color of blood. Smells like wet leaves in the woods and cut rose-wood. Hint of cranberry perhaps. Flavors are smooth and elegant, but fresh and juicy as well. Hint of musk and plenty of black and red berry stuff. Floral as well. Red rose petals. This is a lighter French red, but it’s interesting and well suited to food.

Sour cherry, cranberry, black pepper, maybe some earth/mushroom. Juicy on the palate with red sour fruit, medium acidity and soft tannin with some spice. Tasty, crushable red.

Trying this again. Has classy 60’s vibes in the label design. Smells nice. Red berry and orange peel. Yeah still love the flavors. Fleshy with blood orange, cherry and woodsy stuff. Balance and fresh. Lovely complexity for a lighter color and bit less brooding type of Frenchie.

Plain label. Darker than expected. Smells woodsy and deep. Sauna and berries. Tonics. A French wine with some complexity. Not as Gamay as expected. Dense and delicious.

Funky for a Beaujolais. Mushroomy but very nice.
