Label is tre modern. Color is inky purple. Smells fruity. Maybe a savory streak on the nose. Licorice like. Flavors of berries, cherries and other forest fruits. A but one noted. Fruit and a hint of wood. Plenty of tannins. Things are a bit short and lacking in that density that Barbera can have. This is just a fairly straight Italian red style. Food wine despite its 15% ABV.

This wine lacks something. Maybe I'm just spoiled with what I usually drink? Cheers from Torino though.
