Boisterous nose. Mahogany, leather, ripe dried dark cherries, minerally gravel. Mostly savory flavors in the mouth. A little drying on the finish, but great with Neapolitan pizza.
UPDATE: On night 2, there’s more ripe fruit and depth in the finish. Upping from 8.9 to 9.0.

Very enjoyable: don’t find many $ valued RdM but took a shot - Costco find and it delivered an authentic experience. Not at all fruit driven, so much savory, herbs, mineral, iodine, earthy, fruit initially tart & sour - eventually softened up and smoothed out. Nice weight & mouthfeel w/decent finish.

Ripe, sour black cherry, clay bricks, black licorice. On palate, slightly over ripe/dry fruits mixed with tart. Medium + body, medium + tannin, medium + acid.
