Fun wine, a little simple, I respect the effort in producing a varietal like this in Willamette.

2014 Heavy apples, heavy weight gruner not enough acidity at this point in its life im assuming. Hoping it had more, texture was heavy. Love minimus this not my fav.

Very cool Oregon wine. It's Gruner with a bit more mid palate weight

The most grüner-y grüner outside of Austria. White pepper for days!

Beautiful aroma with dill, and lemon. Palate gives way to ripe apple and pear with just a hint of green chile.

NOTE: This is the Vitae Springs Gruner, not the Johan, but Delectable isn't as responsive lately. That said, this is exceptional. Lighter bodied than the Johan, but still with a snappy whiskey like quality on the end.

Cloudy Apple taste, subtle, very drinkable and nice but not stunning

A good Gruner always makes me hungry (must be the white pepper savouriness). This stands alone in and of itself without food. Full throttle style of GV coming at you from all angles on the palate with herbal notes, citrus and soft lees character.

This the No. 8 Gruner Veltliner, not the Blaufrankisch. Minimus, as it turns out, is Latin for hipster. Biodynamic. Extended skin contact, aged in home made amphorae, etc. This is all about the nose, which is alive with flowers and herbs and truffle. It dies off a bit on the palate. At CSW tasting.
