Pleasant surprise for this one. It was at the back of the cellar and wasn’t expecting much. It is just as good as high end Rosso di Montalcino that Ive had in the past. Well made and has all the classic aged Sangiovese notes with some red fruit still at the front!

Rust colored and red. Nose is berry liquor and cherry. Flavors are juicy and deep. Berry-cherry cobbler and licorices. Blood and fire. Dry and also jammy. Well cooked jams. A straight Cal-Italia Sang. I like the balance and grip. This is grear Italian style red!
