Very good Barolo but I was a little burned out by this point.

What a great expression of Barolo. Michele Chiarlo has created a $50 Barolo that tastes like $80+. 2013 Vintage. Color is is Ruby brick color, a wine with a medium plus acidity. On the nose light & black Cherries, herbacious. On the palate it is velvety but yet still grips the palate with firm tannins with flavors of cherries, raspberries, mint, leather, anise.

Benefited from decanting as it opened up nicely. Beautiful expression of Nebbiolo.
