Michele Chiarlo
Le Orme Barbera d'Asti

Medium ruby, with a voluptuous bouquet of violet, coffee, pepper, cherry, leather and licorice. Sweet fruit on the palate, mild tannins and vibrant acidity.

It’s the compact Fiat of Italian table wine.

Who says you have to pay top dollar for a good wine. This wine always delivers and it's easy to find for under $15. Michele Chiarlo has some quality product that won't break the bank. Market to table and you won't regret it.

Is this the best barbera? No, but it’s quite good and a better value. Big plus: acid is very much on the low side.
