I rated and tasted this 16’ now several times. And this one 18 hours after opening - rock solid and a real bargain. Cherry 🍒 notes and earth will go for 2-4 more years. A real bargain in the increasingly billionaires world of burgundy. At the Meritage Wine Market in Encinitas.

Nice QPR burg. Great with steak, all you could ask for at the $$.

So sappy and mineral driven.

Started out very juicy with a fruity, light nose. Gained depth and spice after half hour.

Deep redfuits and earthy notes, still somewhat structured and youthful, needs more time, solid finish, very good!

Ripe red fruits and cherry blossom. Has some depth that will mature over short and long term. Good value

Nice finish! Full of cherries, black tea, and orange zest.

We decanted two hours before. Its a very dense and rich wine but also well balanced and fresh. Serious, complex and with a Volnay 1er cru quality. We loved it, but it requires 5 to 7 years at least to show its potential.
