This wine is unusual for being 100% Pinot Meunier, the underrated third grape of classic Champagne blends. On its own and in the hands of a skilled vigneron, this grape shines. This wine is bright pale lemon yellow with a rose gold tinge. On the nose there is a warm lemon chiffon character that is absolutely beguiling. The wine is creamy with appealing acidity and vibrancy. Long on the palate it is crisp and beautiful accompaniment to seafood and today chicken. It has the breadth on the palate to stand up to grilled food as well. Simply delicious.

Lovely bubbles. Overripe lemon and tropical citrus with hints of cherry and seashells throughout. If this had no bubbles it would still be a great wine, which I think is the benchmark for great Champagne. This is hard to stop drinking!
