I am so excited to finish today's tasting with this excellent sec from @Marie Petit Loriot, @Michel Loriot! Most higher dosage Champagne is made as an after thought, but Michel Loriot crafted this as an historic style to celebrate the 100th anniversary of his house. It is composed of cool climate parcels- 70% Meunier and 30% Chardonnay and dosed at 20g/l. On deck for today's Champagne tasting at K&L.

Marie Leopold Les Mutines Sec. Beautiful- formal, tiny hint of sweetness with citrus, apricot & mineral. Incredible acidity for 20g/l dosage! Perfect with the foie & roasted apricots that @Gary Westby and @Cindy Westby prepared for the closing crew! Thanks! Beautiful @mariepetitloriot @Michel Loriot !
