This Lodi Cabernet Sauvignon is extremely fruity. Good by itself as a sipping wine. Showing black fruits with chocolate notes and peppercorn.

Good right out of the bottle and better as it opens up and shows some tannins.

I found this 3 year old better than the 5 years old 2014 i had not too long ago.

I paired it with a cheese plate, dried fruits and crackers.

14.5% alcohol by volume.

89 points.

Dark ruby in color with a short purple rim.

Strong nose of blackberries, sweet cherry pie, plums, figs, raisins, vanilla, oak, licorice, spices, smoke, pencil lead, tobacco, coffee, chocolates and peppercorn.

Full bodied, buttery, jammy and bold, with medium acidity and long legs.

Dry and extremely fruity on the palate with blackberries, black currants, plums, cooked strawberries, spices, pencil lead, vanilla, wood, chocolates, mocha, earth, dark coffee and peppercorn.

Long finish with fine grained tannins and tangy raspberries.

This California Red Blend is always enjoyable. Showing nice complexity and a great mouthfeel. Well balanced and good by itself or with food. I paired it with cheeses and light appetizers.

A blend of Syrah and Petite Sirah. Aged for 14 months in French oak barrels.

Lodi Red blend for stage 5 #amgentoc a bit fruit jam with a bit of earth. Not quite in balance for my taste but pleasant enough. Like to try some of their old vines.

Dark ruby in color with a short red rim.

Fruity nose with blackberries, blueberries, sweet cherries, strawberry pie, wood, vanilla, chocolates, licorice, spices, pencil lead and black pepper.

Full bodied and bold with medium acidity and long legs.

Very fruity on the palate and dry, with sweet cherries, plums, blackberries, licorice, herbs, cloves, vanilla, oak, herbs, leather, tobacco, coffee, milk chocolates, mocha and peppercorn.

Long finish with soft tannins and caramel.

This Californian Red Blend is always enjoyable. Well balanced, jammy, bold and big with lots of chocolate and coffee flavors and a smooth mouthfeel.

Showing nice complexity, but might be too fruity for some. Has high alcohol, but it doesn't burn at all.

Good right out the bottle and good by itself or for parties.

I paired it with chicken skewers and stuffed grape leaves.

Tart. My mouth caved in. Flavor was enjoyable though. The cork was so saturated in purple, I could draw with it!😂

Sipping Fine Wine

Michael and David Phillips represent the fifth generation of growers in Lodi. A blend of 71% Syrah, 25% Petite Sirah & 4% Souzao, with aromas of berry fruits and nutty scents. On the palate blackberry and ripe plum flavors with cacao and coffee notes, fine big tannins on a nice frame. Medium finish ending with toasted nutty character.
