Part 1 of the final and main event for the Fall WNH. The most spectacular lineup of wines I’ve ever seen, and an overall wonderful ending to an amazing trip with fantastic people.
I made the mistake of enjoying this immediately after the Chablis-like Texture Chardonnay, so I was overwhelmed with the flavors. However, I revisited it later and actually quite enjoyed this. 32 months in oak! Very butterscotch dominant with smoked cashews and a touch of marzipan. It’s a big boy Chardonnay that holds its power well. Very unique. Thanks for the intro to this @David L .

Dec 22nd, 2017It's my favorite Chardonnay. 30 months in oak but so masterfully blended you'd never know it. Paired so well with king crab, lobster, salmon Pate and caviar. At the historic Arabelle Dufur estate.
