Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon
2019 vintage. Solid Napa juice for under $25 (which is nearly impossible these days). Good depth/structure with a plushy, elegant dark fruit finish.

1 person found it helpfulJan 26th, 20232022 vintage. Cheap chicken Napa cabbage (which ain’t so cheap these daze). Medium body. Solid balance, mouthfeel and concentration throughout. The low end Napa cab btg proposition for the last three vintages. Tuff to beat at that price range.

Nov 30th, 2023JUST OPENED AND POURED WITH AN AERATOR: Smells a bit of dust and graphite … and alcohol. Definitely boozy. Tastes like dark cherry. Tiny bit of violet. Tannin. A little bitter. Less texture than I like. I’ve had this before and it was better (much more big Napa cab taste), but it’s pretty good. Not worth the $17 I paid - too bad I bought a case. Oh well. Hopefully more air will improve it. EDIT: BETTER THE NEXT DAY, STILL NOT UP TO THE FIRST COUPLE BOTTLES I TRIED.

Aug 28th, 2021Hidden Gem. Worth much more than it sells for. The perfect balance of fruit and oak hints without one taking over the other. One of my favorites!

Feb 3rd, 2021Smooth, pleasant. Deep red body, nice legs and a pleasant bouquet. I normally like a peppery or tannin wine and this teases with hints of those. Not over powering.

Nov 14th, 2019Recommended by the Irish guy what’s his name in Yountville. We say the 2015 for half the price of the 2014 at another place.... but it was damn bold and good. Crowd pleaser.
