The color is a kind of pale, golden orange, with a strong nose of marzipan, birch, and a liqueur like astringency. Very “adult”. The flavor is bold, meaty on the finish, complex with a delicate minerality, and notes of candied orange, light tannins in the back of your throat, and a lightly woody flavor on the palate, very interesting, very different from any orange wine I’ve had.

Feb 28th, 2021Smell of honey, dates, slight smoke. Slightly earthy colour. Very refreshing taste, notes of orange, zesty and slightly acidic. Perfect summer evening.

Agreeable as a second step, but needs a good foundation to be thouroughly enjoyed.

Lactic acid blood Oranges! You dont just die in the fifth act... Decent creamy nose. Not the best Costador but a complex amphorae wine with a nice barrique-touch!

May 15th, 2020Partially matured in amphora and old French oak, fermented with skins. Soft mouthfeel with yellow apples, orange and plums. Oak showing a bit too much when temperature rises.
