The color is a kind of pale, golden orange, with a strong nose of marzipan, birch, and a liqueur like astringency. Very “adult”. The flavor is bold, meaty on the finish, complex with a delicate minerality, and notes of candied orange, light tannins in the back of your throat, and a lightly woody flavor on the palate, very interesting, very different from any orange wine I’ve had. — 5 years ago
