A very juicy merlot with lots of plum and cherry fruit they own three vineyards Stanley ranch 60 acres they purchase 50% of their fruit they use. A good amount of ripe berry and plum fruit with notes of herbs and peppery spice a good amount of fruit for a 2011. Excellent!

We lost a bit of the cork but poured into a decanter which caught it. Everyone home for Christmas this was a bottle that I bought in Napa while at my niece’s wedding before getting moved to Shanghai. We we’re drinking a recent vintage when I realized I probably had an older vintage in the basement. Was a great comparison and didn’t last long great quality and still a great wine.

One of the best Merlots that I've had! Nose of strawberries. Very smooth, cherries and ripe fruit.

From magnum. The fruits of this 13-year young were fresh with mostly black fruits profile. Herbaceous note only adds to the freshness. While very balanced just like most other Merryvale wines I’ve tasted, this Merlot showed its opulent side with rich and textured palate. Espresso, vanilla, herbal spices, mint, dark chocolate. Velvety tannins. Superb.
