Russian River Valley Sauvignon Blanc

Very elegant with Medium intensity aromas and flavors of apple, pineapple, apricot, white peach, nectarine, elderflower, brioche, clove, vanilla and smoke.
Hint of dried apricot and honey.
Very good quality, balancing aromatics with a hint of oak. Interesting style with batonnage, 18% new French oak

Merry Edwards has done it again. She’s left out a lot of the vegetative notes in prior vintages and brought in the freshness and brightness of all the tropical fruits and white flowers.

Very clean Savon Savon blanc whatever I don’t care. I told Bobby Ray with a little bit of grass CVS. Fantastic bottle. 

Always solid but not the most complex.

Pale yellow with pleasing aromas of citrus and tropical fruits, adding in spice and some biscuit notes. On the palate complex palate of flavors, fresh fruit, pineapple, lemon, grapefruit, peaches and Asian pears. Slight earthiness with a smooth and creamy well balanced finish ending with a gentle yeasty character. Very nice! Consistent quality! Will age well!

So pleasing. Not a SB. Not a Chard. Just smack in the middle.

Among the sweeter of Sauv Blancs. Ripe ruby red grapefruit and light lemon. Needs food to finish a full glass with the high acid and high fruitiness.

Very nice. Melons and lemons/ limes.

Pear, peach, elderflower. Good freshness but with warmth and depth. Very good indeed.

2013, still holding strong. Circus peanuts, lemon rind, toasted nuts, caramel, vanilla, overripe peach and nice acid.
