you start to drink and it says : hello, I'm here. pleasure to meet you. indeed, pleasure to meet you, you full, rounded, rich, slightly apple tasting and so easy going, good, very good wine. we'll meet again.

I always thought people were weird for saying a wine smelled like wet lanolin like it was a good thing... But this smells like a newborn lamb, in a good way... From someone who use to raise sheep. Ripe Bosc pears, fresh-peeled tangerines, wild honeycomb, and jasmine come through on the nose. Bright, dry citrus greets the palate, with lemon pith, fresh honeydew, and lychees filling out the midpalate, and finishing long and dry with hints of crushed lily and Macarone almonds. This would be an interesting one to revisit in a few years and see how it develops.
