Vino de capa media, en nariz ciruela y notas ahumadas. En boca de entrada equilibrada no mucho aporte tánico, final largo y equilibrado.

It’s all about cranberry! Old vines (80+) Mencia, medium acidity, medium body low in tannins, subtle vanilla sweeter oak tertiary notes from 6 month maturation in French oak, but dried cranberry is the leading theme. Wine is high in alcohol but integration is fine. Maybe lack of finish but 12 euro is a fair price for this smooth red. Paired with slow cooker lamb with quince- what a great pairing! Had this one with barbecued ribs! Excellent finish, some lingering spice, soft tannins - good with or without food.
