I do like an unoaked Chardonnay. Though zesty it has traces of minerals, not too much fruit, went well with salmon and scallops. Pretty nice Charles Wagner wine.

2017 brings an interesting batch. Pale straw color. Aromas of lemon custard, and faint tropical fruit. Flavors that begin like an oaked Chardonnay- hint of malolactic fermentation, don’t know how - since it’s a stainless steel chard... creamy, fruity/citrus flavors.
