The 2020 Pinot Noir Sandy's Block is a huge, dense wine. Sandy's is never this dark or concentrated, but that is the vintage speaking. Black cherry, plum, mocha, incense and cloves flesh out in thee glass. The 50% whole clusters add quite a bit of savory nuance, but the Sandy's remains quite the powerhouse. (Antonio Galloni, Vinous, August 2022)

This one was extraordinary…strawberry hills forever! Pure fruit, soft tennis and acid balance!

Really nice. 5 years has softened some of the Sta. Rita super bright flavors. More mellow, more mature. Still a big Cali Pinot, but more integrated and less sharp than 5 years ago.

Nice Central Coast Pinot. Took about 30 min in glass to open up. Drink now.

2019 vintage. Fantastic display of exploding saline blue and purple fruits, bold structure and a great finish. Needs a good decant to enjoy soon, but this is a special wine.

Subtle red fruits, cherries, strawberries with limited structure and a nice finish. Would have rated this higher a year ago, but it has lost much of its youthful structure and balance. Nice and tasty, but a bit past its prime.
