I’m a fan. This Cabernet Franc/Merlot Blend shows the kind of supple textures and depth that these two grapes possess. Lots of dark fruit with mocha-like finish.

51/49 Cab Franc/Merlot. Medium red in color, I'm hit with bell pepper and florals on the nose. Black cherries fill the mouth with a touch of spice and gripping tannins - which makes me think this has a long life ahead of it. Nice acidity too.

51% cab franc, 49% merlot - the fire and fruit of the cab franc hits the palate early, then balanced out by the poise and silliness of the merlot. Would have loved to decant this properly. #wheninamerica #drinkamerican
