2010 McPherson #TXwine High Plains Sangiovese. Aromas of dried red cherry and cherry cola notes mingled with dusty earth and baking spice. Soft and silky. A nice showing of what #TXwine Sangiovese can be. #wine #txwine #sangiovese

Very good…a wine that is fruity without being sweet!

Our first Texas red wine. Actually quite nice with black cherry overtones. A bit light but really enjoyable. I would drink again.

Nothing like a Texas Sangiovese to go with 3 cheese asparagus ravioli enhanced with fresh red chili flakes! Medium body, ruby red color, smoke & oak, slightly tannic finish. Heat from chili flakes really brings out the flavors in the wine.

Dry, with strong tannin flavor, some slightly bitter chocolate notes.
