Dec 26th, 2016Still a big wine, even with the age. Great cab franc nose, pencil shavings, rustic spice, med-plus tannin and pretty cherry compote fruit. Always a sucker for these, even if they're not my atypical style.

wine of the tasting! even a french person liked it...ha! seriously though, gorgeously layered with those nice free hints associated with CF but more plush on the palate with no harsh astringency.

Jun 6th, 2015Pencil shavings, raspberry preserve, iron minerality, and an earthy/vegetal note on the back end. Awesome pencil notes on the palate with pretty berry fruit. Tannins are just right. Finally waited the correct time for a wine :)
