Better on day 2. Still a little tight — a month ago
Adolph Mueller Graacher Himmelreich Kabinett Riesling 1982 Mosel, Germany
Here is another great taste of history. This 37 year old is surprisingly, still very drinking nicely. Showing lots of complexity on the nose and palate.
Medium plus in body and crisp, with medium plus acidity.
Off dry on the palate with citrus, honey, ripped apples, light maple, tropical fruits, pineapples, citrus and Indian spices.
Tangy finish with spices and honey.
Very Stinky right out of the bottle, and better as it opens up (30 minutes).
Very enjoyable by itself or with food. I paired it with a spicy Tuna Tataki dish.
10% alcohol by volume.

Big, bold great again! Maybe even better now. Refined full flavor deep Pinot w/all attributes as in previous ratings even more evident... — 6 months ago
Don't fully recall but seems not the same as last time we drank Mueller RR Valley Tempi Pinot Noir - not as smooth, more tannic with more bite on front-end of tasting. May need aging but I dunno... breathing does not help us or the wine. Still has several characteristics of Mueller - full, deep fruit/berry flavor, nice bouquet and legs - but not up to better of RR Valley Pinots or Mueller Pinots. 9.0 is a stretch... — a year ago
Big, fruity, a hint of tannin. It’s ready — 3 months ago
Mueller Thurgau & Pinot Noir. — 4 months ago
Nose is clean botrytus. Palate is confectioners sugar. Some perfect peach. Great acidity ( of course it’s mueller). Long finish. Lovely slightly syrupy texture. Wow. So so delicious. Still fresh as a daisy. Maybe a mere hint of age on the nose. Kill one now if you just want to enjoy life. Check in in 2024. Bought from fass selections. — 8 months ago
