Plenty there. Plenty of time left, while balanced now. Cocoa, dark fruits, hit of vanilla, lots of complexities that keep it interesting.

May 20th, 201608' It is truly one of my favorite 2008. Just like my previous notes, it hasn't changed much. 2 hour + decanting. A certain must for ones collection. 10/15 years left . Love this!

Oct 18th, 2015Full-bodied Beauty. 2 hours+ opened. Very dark ruby red with purple edges. Complexity & density of few other 08'. Dark chocolate, cherry, new oak, big chunk of stone. A bit of chalkiness. 10/15 years in front of it. I'll wait a few years to open my last bottle of 08'.

Gave it a ton of air, probably about 8hr decant. These need some serious time to open up but these are developing incredibly! Big wine that wears its weight well.

Fantastic Oakville Cabernet Sauvignon, deep concentration, black & blue fruits with big aromatics. In a really good place, still gobs of fruit with integrated fine tannins; long finish that seems to linger on the pallet long after it's down. Taste it & you quickly want another sip.
