Thin and watery. A Barolo in color only. Nothing else here.

Pale Garnett in color.

Medium intensity on the nose with petrol, spices, wet leaves, tar and eucalyptus.

Dry on the palate with red fruits, earth, and spices.

Medium bodied with medium acidity.

Long finish with aggressive tannins.

Still young and immature, yet has the quality to mature well . Will be great in 5 to 10 years.

14% alcohol by volume.

Light, orange, surprisingly very, very tame tannins. Not what I expect in Barolo, but pretty nice all the same.

Amazing! Decanted now for 60 minutes. Cherry, rose petal, and tobacco notes. Definitely more a traditional style barolo. Had to try one to see how this would age and it can definitely last a decade or two. 97 pts by Decanter. I'd probably go with a 93 at this time (March 2021).

Inexpensive Barolo. Enjoyed for the price. Tasted at total wine.

Garnet color. Earthy notes. Tar/granite. Dried fruit. Let this one decant for a while before drinking. Not as much anise/licorice/clove/vanilla/cedar flavor as other Barolo wines, which I personally like.

Smells of dried prunes.

Carmel like mouthfeel at first, with blueberry skins, cranberry, tart fruits.
pepper, huge new oak tannins, light acidity.
Some of that minty tarragon, that I tend to find in Nebbiolo.

A decent wine for the sub 20$ I scored it for..
