It’s really not fair to taste Barbera or Dolcetto next to Nebbiolo. Yes this was great but overshadowed.

Ruby colour with a light garnet on the rim. The nose is well pronounced, full of fruit character, blackberries, raspberries, fig, plum, has some flower aromas too, violet, dried roses and spiciness, vanilla, clove and a touch of black pepper. In the palate is very expensive, the mouthfeeling is dry, moderately tannic, high in acidity, medium bodied, long finish. The wine has a very nice complexity and a very good structure, ready to drink with potentiality to improve, within 7 to 10 years.
Pairing: great with beef stews, cold meats, mushroom pasta, matured cheeses semi-hard to hard.
