What an excellent value Barbera. Berries and bright acidity. Pinot or Beaujolais-esque. Paired incredibly well with farfalle, sweet sausage, tomatoes, and cream sauce.

Red fruit Barbera, delicious and medium-bodied with tons of sour/wild strawberry and, surprisingly, pencil shavings on the nose. Must be the tannins.

Tart on the palate, a bit too bright, fruity but not too much, good balance - fine finish but still a bit too much tart (acidic?). Fine Barbera D’ Alba but many, many are better yes, “Oh Italia!”
