First time trying this “villages” Chardonnay from Matthiasson. For the price quite nice. I think it satisfies the concept of a more accessible less expensive introduction to their Chardonnay - ie, a villages wine - quite well. Very good pairing with a goat cheese and broccolini tart.

$20, 12.5%. So happy that this generously priced “village” wine from Matthiasson is delicious. Light, but dancing out of the bottle. Butter poached pear, green apple and ripe grapefruit.
