Last of the Hurricane Harvey relief bottles…awful to contemplate what befell Napa itself (and the surrounding area obviously) just a few years later. In any case still one of the great Cali white wines, a beautiful blend of Italian varietals giving at this point lime, white peach, green melon, honey, lychee, dried grass, almond/marzipan, and as the winemaker notes plentiful spice and mineral from a rainy vintage. Beguiling interplay of lees-imparted flesh, shot through with zing from the blocked malo style

Light gold color. Lemongrass on the nose. More on the palate with some apples and pears. Lower acidity than expected. Nice complexity, depth, and long finish.

Pale lemon color. Lovely nose of honey, apple, pear, peach, and pineapple. Minerals, citrus, and cream on the palate. Well balanced with a fuller body and tart acidity. Very interesting and Complex wine. Wasn’t sure at first. Came out a little funky when I opened it, but it turned out really nice!

Nice Mathiasson white. I actually like their varietal whites more than their blend, but this is still quite nice and a great pairing with omakase sushi.

Liking this wine more and more. Translucent light gold color. Lemongrass and rubber on the nose. Nice balance of fruit, sweetness, and acidity. Medium plus depth and medium finish. Super cool and unique!!

Classic Matthiasson White Blend! Lemongrass, pineapple, and hints of burnt caramel. Had lovely, almost creamy texture which was new. Perfect on a hot summers night.

Light gold color. Fairly reserved nose and wine overall. Might be in a weird spot. Funk, gunpowder, lime, and metallic elements present. Medium acidity and fairly muted finish.
